Piotr, Ilyitch Tchaikovsky

Born to a mining engineer and a French mother who loved music, Botkinsk-born Russian composer. Born to a French mother who loved music, he loved music from an early age and was strangely sensitive to music. When his family moved to Petersburg in 1848, he began studying systematic music there.

However, he entered the law school as his father intended in 1848, and after graduation, he worked as a clerk of the Ministry of Justice. However, he had a strong attachment to music, so he resigned from his management's management in 1863, entered the Petersburg Conservatory, which was established the year before, and studied under Anton Rubinstein.

After graduation in 1864, Anton's younger brother, Nicola, was invited to teach at the Moscow Conservatory, where Rubinstein opened, and from this time on, he began composing. For the first time in 1868, I met with the people of the 'five-piece' centered on Balakirev, but Tchaikovsky was influenced by these national composers, but he took a position of respecting the European music tradition, sticking to the eclectic style between the Russian ethnic and Western European. For this reason, he is commonly called the Western European.
